Josefin Wikstrom

Josefin Wikström is teaching Bollywood style and movement therapy to
spread the happiness and freedom this dance has to offer in prisons
and schools in Sweden. She is also educated by the University of
Örebro Sweden and by Tripura Kashyap in dance as a healing method
and has received two awards for her work with children and young
adults.
She is also working with children who has been the victims of abuse in
Mumbai and is experiencing the healing effects of yoga and dance therapy.
She is based in Mumbai big parts of the year where she is working
with Sumeet Nagdev Dance arts.
She has been completing a 1,5 year apprenticeship with Mr.L.Suresh at
Grandeurs institute of dance in Karnataka and has been a part of an Indian
dance group performing on tours in South India. Amongst her teachers are
also Shiamak Davars Institute, Arts in motion Mumbai and Bhangra dance
with King G Mall from Punjab.
Josefinis educated at the Trauma institute in Boston US a in-depth study on
the effects from traumatic stress on the nervous system and the brain with the
renown Bessel Van Der Kolk M.D amongst the faculty. She is currently
studying towards a Yoga therapy certification  with The minded institute and
Heather Mason in London.
She received the 500 level graduate certification in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
from her beloved teacher John Scott in August 2016.
Josefin is educated in Trauma informed yoga by James Fox Prison Yoga
Project US she is a worldwide ambassador for the PYP method and has
been developing the Swedish national Yoga project and their manuals
together with her colleague Eva Seilitz.
